MORGAN J. FREEMAN (Writer/Director/Producer) graduated from the film program at University of California in Santa Barbara then worked as a production assistant for Why Not Production in Paris. He left Paris to attend graduate school at New York University, from which he graduated in 1996. Freeman has made six short films, beginning his association with Brendan Sexton III, Gill Holland, Nadia Leonelli, Jamin O'Brien and Enrique Chediak on his last short film, Boom. This team went on to join Freeman on the production of his feature film writing and directorial debut, Hurricane Streets. Freeman previously worked as a 2nd assistant director on the films Milk and Money and Welcome to the Dollhouse, where he first met Sexton. He is currently prepping his next feature film, entitled Desert Blue, which reunites him with Brendan Sexton III, and also stars Christina Ricci and Noah Taylor.
